At the risk of sounding cliché, I'll start by saying I was born a writer. I know, I know—yuck! So corny.
But it's true. I've always loved the challenge of staring down a blank page or editing a horrible first draft. Writing has come naturally to me for as long as I can remember. Even as a young kid, I spent hours writing stories just for fun.
I realize now that writing is part of who I am. But I didn't always know that, and I never gave myself a real chance to see where it could go until now. Needless to say, my journey to get here has been interesting...
